Outreach #19 (Walk For Life)

Posted in Uncategorized at 5:32 pm by reacheachweek

This summer has been jam-packed and breezing by so quickly that I haven’t had a chance to blog about the many outreach opportunities the Lord has blessed me with over the past few weeks!  Two weekends ago, my husband Rick, daughter Addison and I volunteered at a fundraising event for the Dupage Crisis Pregnancy Center.  We volunteered at the registration booth and then hiked the 2 1/2 miles to raise money for the center to help women make the right choice  for LIFE  and NOT abortion.

It turned out to be a gorgeous day!  We prayed for the girls to have the courage to step into the crisis pregnancy center and seek help.  Some of the staff from the center read stories about women who were so thankful that they chose to seek direction in their decision to keep their babies. God is good!  Please continue to pray for all of the Crisis Pregnancy Centers nationwide that are encouraging women with God’s truth and the decision to choose LIFE!!

      For you created my inmost being;
       you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

       I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
       your works are wonderful,
       I know that full well.

       My frame was not hidden from you
       when I was made in the secret place.
       When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

       your eyes saw my unformed body.
       All the days ordained for me
       were written in your book
       before one of them came to be.

                                             Psalms 139:13-16
